Cicero Web Services API
can be integrated into most widely available web services frameworks.
The example on the left shows how Cicero Web Services API can be integrated in Microsoft's Local Live®.
The webserver is calling the "
GetVerticesByDistrictID
" method of the Cicero Web Services. This returns a set of latitude/longitude points from Cicero to the webserver.
These
latitude and longitude points
are used to construct javascript for display on the viewing browser.
This Javascript invokes
free mapping services from Microsoft's Virtual Earth™ portal
, creating a scrollable, zoomable map with nearly no work on the part of developers.
Additional data such as aerial mapping and "Birds-eye" view are made available through the power of leveraging these services.
